Rail companies have always had to handle whatever Mother Nature decides to throw at them, and in 2018, it was a record year for natural disasters. In southwest Colorado a wildfire spread through the region causing severe damage and destroying many miles of track. The customer used a Dymax Rail Rider on a Caterpillar Backhoe Loader and a 360 degree rotational cribbing clam bucket.  With it’s multi-functional use the customer was able to crib and remove old ties and material plus insert new ties with the same attachment all while working from hi-railed position.
